Get ready, because as you enter the ride you will be transported to the laboratories of Dr. Bruce Banner with all his scientific machinery. Watch out as you approach Dr. Banner’s gamma-ray accelerator, because you realize that something has gone terribly wrong when you hear the warning lights flash and sirens sound. Unlike the magnetic induction systems that propel most launched coasters the Hulk’s train of cars moves slowly up the green “Gamma Force Accelerator” tube, with a first of it’s kind specially designed booster thrust that catapults the train 40 mph uphill in 2 seconds flat. The launch requires the same thrust of a jet taking off from a aircraft carrier. What most people don’t know is that Universal had to build a dedicated power plant to accommodate the ride.

Once the train emerges from the tube, the train immediately barrels through a complete inversion at 110 feet off the ground.┬áThen you feel a surge in power as you pick up speed to 67 mph as you are enveloped in a ominous groar that fills your ears as you plummet 105 feet. Your world turns upside down as you experience the weightless “zero g” roll, along with rollovers, corkscrews, and fog-enshrouded tunnels. Watch out for those G-forces as they can be quite intense. They only thing you can do is hang on as the rage, power and fury of the Hulk, smash you through the sky and plummet you down to earth on a high-speed roller coaster rampage of destruction.

  • The Hulk launches riders upward 150 ft. and reaches top speeds of 67 mph.
  • The ride has a total of seven inversions and two subterranean trenches during the 2-minute 15-second ride.
